16-Weeks to Living Your Dreams!
eCourse
by Francine Ward
Are
you living the life you want to live? Are you
doing what makes your heart sing and your spirit
sparkle? If your answer is "yes", then congratulations
for having the courage to do what you love. If
you aren't yet living the life you want, welcome,
because today is the first day of the rest of your
life.
One
of the key ingredients to creating a life worth
living is having the courage to first dream of
the kind of life you want. While that might be
easy for some of you because you're clear as
to your dreams and goals; for others, it presents
a challenge-but a challenge that can be overcome.
For years I allowed my fear to be more powerful
than my dreams. It was easier to sit back and complain
about the life I had, rather than take action to
change it. And, there were plenty of people who
told me I'd never amount to anything; people more
than willing to remind me of my history and past
mistakes. For years they convinced me because I
had been an ex-junkie hooker with a criminal record
that my life was doomed to nothingness. And for
years I bought into their beliefs.
Today I'm 26 years sober, a successful life coach,
twice published author, philanthropist, and someone
who's run two marathons. How did that happen? Because
I became willing to first dream, and then take
action. What about you, do you have the courage
to dream? What would it take to get started? What
one thing can you do today?
For 16-weeks
you will be supported, encouraged, and coached
through a process that will result in you getting
closer to making your dream come true. Your job
will be to simply do the work.
This first week, you'll be invited to go on a
journey, a courageous journey, one that can possibly
change the course of your life forever. My hope
is by your willingness to take one small step,
you will be motivated to take yet another, and
another, leading eventually to a life you really
want. You'll also be invited to turn our dream
into a solid goal, one with teeth, making it specific,
achievable, realistic, and measurable.
Week
#2 -- you'll be asked to examine the obstacles
that you believe stand between you and realizing
your goal. During Week #3, you'll create a visual
reminder of your goal. It will serve as a guiding
star. The more you look at your visual, the easier
it'll be to stay on track. In Week #4, you'll be
asked to make a list of every action you need to
take to get you from where you are to where you
want to be.
In
Week #5, you'll explore available resources to
help you accomplish your goal. Resources could
include books, web sites, or people. During Week
#6 you'll create a plan-complete with a schedule-for
accomplishing each small action step.
Then,
over the remaining 10 weeks, you'll be asked
to do something on your list of To-Dos everyday,
something that moves you closer to realizing
your goal.
To
help you stay accountable, you'll be invited
to keep a journal where you write about the task
you've completed or why you didn't, what your experience
was, helpful resources utilized during the week
(including people), and any other notes of importance.
That's it! If you stay on track, no question about
it, in 16 weeks, you'll either have reached your
goal (depending on what it is) or you'll be closer
to making it a reality.
One
more thing, if you find along the way that you'd
like support from me, you can always choose to
schedule a personal coaching session or two.
And get this, because you're working through
the 16-Week e-Course, you'll get a discount on
any individual sessions you might want to purchase.
